Dive into machine sewing with a workshop covering how to use a domestic sewing machine. Perfect for those who have never touched a sewing machine and for sewists who need a refresher, an expert seamstress will teach the basics you’ll need to sew like a pro. Learn how to thread, use a variety of stitches, and leave with a finished project in under two hours. Machines, tools, fabrics, notions, and fun will be provided in this intimate group class. About Lauren: Lauren Fonville is the founder of Sew Mojo, a mobile sewing school sharing the art of fashion and costume design throughout Los Angeles. A seamstress, patternmaker and custom-made costumer with over 15 years of experience, she has worked on films and televison shows including “Hacks," "Shazam! Fury of the Gods," "The Suicide Squad," "Mandalorian," and "Deadwood.”

Cancellation Policy

We do not offer refunds or credits for event registrations upon customer cancelation within 48 hours or no-show, unless due to illness or emergency. We reserve the right to cancel events and classes due to low enrollment, staff sickness, extreme weather, or other conditions beyond our control. Registrants will be notified via email 24 hours before class if an event is canceled for low registration, and every attempt will be made to contact participants as soon as possible in the event of emergency cancellation. Refunds will follow within 7 -10 business days.
